Lise - Lead & Backup Vocals:

In recent years Lise has written and performed as part of original folk-rock duo Steel Moon, and performed with Perth-based Soul/Funk/R&B band Millstreet. Her voice has been described as having a soothing, smoky quality that blends easily with others. From rock to country to blues and more, she doesn’t shy away from various musical styles. Lise is also part of the Women of the Tay, a 50-voice women’s choir based in Perth.

Jennifer - Lead & Backup Vocals:

Jennifer is an outstanding lead/backup vocalist having performed in church choirs for many years. Jennifer sings alto with the Blackburn Chorus, a community choir of 75 voices. Her gift of harmony, her range and pitch are noticeable in the vocal parts of Starfire's music. She enjoys music and takes piano lessons weekly. With her prior knowledge of many different genres of music, she is a great addition to Starfire's vocal sound!

Greg - Lead & Backup Vocals:

Greg has many years of experience in music, starting as a bass player with several rock bands as a teen. He moved onto Caribbean music where he played guitar, trumpet and performed vocals with "The Carivibes". In 1994 Greg founded Starfire, a vibrant main stream party band. A life-long musician, Greg’s versatile voice embraces all styles of music and his precise sense of harmony adds depth and range to Starfire’s vocals.

Rob - Lead & Rhythm Guitar:

Rob has been playing guitar for almost forty years and has performed in a wide range of settings and styles. His most recent outings include performances with Men of the Tay and Women of the Tay choirs as well as playing in Millstreet with Lise.

Ken - Bass:

Born in Newcastle, UK, Ken Gollan has been a professional musician starting in the mid 70's. He has performed in towns across England and Canada with bands including Brian Plummer and the Suspects, Ice, Mutley Pooch and Out of Hand. Ken studied music at University and is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist.

Martin - Drums:

As the newest member of the StarFire Band, Martin has added his passion and drumming skill, further fueling the Band’s ongoing success. In addition to his role with StarFire, Martin’s love for music extends to various side projects and collaborations. Whether lending his skills to local acts in and around Ottawa/Montreal or joining forces with other artists, Martin’s intuitive sense of groove and ability to adapt to different styles make him a perfect fit!
