Starfire is a 6-piece high energy party band that has been performing in the Ottawa area since 2004. With backgrounds from a broad range of musical styles, the members of Starfire successfully bring it all together in a unique blend of amazing vocal harmony, live instruments and MIDI. Professional MIDI programming assists the band in performing live complicated arrangements that would otherwise require a much larger band.
With outstanding three-part harmony their specialty, Starfire's musical style ranges from classic rock and soul-touching ballads, to new country, 80's, R&B and disco. Starfire members continuously strive to bring their audience an energetic performance with danceable, well arranged music and exceptional vocals.
Performing throughout the eastern Ontario region in various venues, including Montreal and Kingston, Starfire's versatility enables them to play for any size and type of crowd.

Lanark County Interval and Community support hosted one of their biggest fundraisers the 2022 Violet Femmes, with the band Starfire as the dancing attraction. Starfire from the moment hired worked with the event planner and the host location member to ensure equipment would be set and functioning prior to the event which allowed them to seamlessly begin to fill the dance floor with their first song. The large selection of tunes and the band's ability to read the crowds' desire to dance kept the flooring moving from the first to last song."
